Glyn Hopkin extends remarketing deal with BCA
Glyn Hopkin has signed an exclusive three-year remarketing deal renewal with BCA that will manage over 7,500 vehicles a year.
The South East based dealer group operates over 50 dealerships and multiple brands across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
All stock will be sold in a weekly event at BCA London Enfield every Saturday. Eligible vehicles will be sold under the BCA Assured scheme and complete with V5, and in many cases a service history and warranted mileage. Vehicles will be available to BCA Buyer app users, BCA Live Online users and bidders in the auction hall.
Glyn Hopkin uses BCA Dealer Pro across all its sites to ensure every incoming part-exchange vehicle will be appraised and valued. At the push of a button, users can then decide to retail the vehicle or remarket through digital or physical auction.
Stuart Hodson, operations director of Glyn Hopkin, said: “We have developed a close working relationship with the team at BCA who go the extra mile to ensure our vehicles are remarketed efficiently. BCA continues to raise the bar in terms of its technology and data services, which helps us manage our used car programme more effectively.”
BCA recently announced a major update to its Buyer app with the introduction of live bidding from mobile devices. The BCA Buyer app has been welcomed by customers, with over 50% of BCA buyers having now used the app. The BCA Buyer app now lets customers bid live in all live sales across all BCA locations including e-Auctions, as well as purchase stock instantly 24/7 in fixed price ‘Buy Now’ sales.
Alan Dyer, national account manager at BCA, said: “Glyn Hopkin and BCA work in a true partnership to support the continued success of the used car programme. Together we continue to drive efficiency through innovation.”
