New BCA Bedford ‘Fast & Luxurious’ sale generates strong demand in the luxury and supercar sectors
BCA reports strong demand for luxury, prestige and supercar vehicles following the launch of a new Top Car auction at BCA Bedford. The new fortnightly event has sold over 600 high value vehicles in the three sales staged so far, delivering an 87% conversion and generating sale proceeds of nearly £10 million.
Launched in October, a superb selection of high value stock from vendors including Black Horse, VWFS, Jardine, BSM, UKCGR Premium and BCA Outsourced has been fought over by buyers from all over the UK and further afield, with the most recent event on 6th November seeing nearly 60% of the stock purchased by digital bidders.
Bidding across the three sales has been hugely competitive with sold values routinely outperforming price guide expectations by more than ten percentage points. BCA reports that over 75% of the vehicles on offer attracted bids from online buyers.
Stuart Pearson, BCA COO UK remarketing said: “The luxury and supercar sectors continue to generate a huge amount of interest and BCA has developed a range of remarketing tools to help both sellers and buyers make informed decisions. Our market insight and decision intelligence driven approach brings together a blend of physical and digital buyers to provide the strongest possible audience for any sale.”
Pearson added “Insight from our BCA Buyer app shows that there is significant demand for these high-value vehicles with exceptional interest for some of the rarer supercars we have offered in this programme of sales. It also underlines the confidence that customers have to buy and sell these high end vehicles through BCA’s platforms.”
