DODGE CHARGER R/T
440
Probably the most iconic of all muscle cars,
the Dodge Charger’s sheer size and presence does nothing to
disguise its awesome power and performance. The last and
rarest of the second-generation cars is the 1970 model,
particularly in R/T spec., making them the most collectable of all
Chargers.
This 1970 example of the ‘U’ code R/T has the
440 cu-in (7.2-litre) Magnum V8 with many additional
high-performance and detail parts. The interior is trimmed in
black and features high-back bucket seats, while the dash is
highlighted by a set of white dial gauges. Eye-catchingly
finished in bright metallic blue, having been repainted to a very
high standard, the body is complete with the rearward facing
‘scoops’ on the front doors and their R/T badges. The
enhancements of a white wraparound stripe and bright finished alloy
wheels complete this stunning motor car.
Having been purchased from a collection in the
US, this charger is now UK registered and a V5C document is
supplied along with a current MOT certificate and a copy of the
last Florida title certificate.
